Google is in the process of updating the Toolbar PageRank; despite webmaster claiming to have lost interest in PageRank you can be sure that PageRank testing tools will be taking some hammer over the next few days. Websites PageRank changes all the time, but it doesn’t show in the toolbar.

PageRank is system for ranking website pages it relies on links from other websites to help makeup an indication of the important of any webpage. The inbound links act like a vote so more high quality websites linking to your page the more likely your page will receive PageRank, it should also be noted  that PageRank is not only decided my inbound links. Google examines dozens of aspects of your webpage content as well as the content of pages that link to you to make sure it’s a good match to your search query.

Google has hundreds of Data Center and does not export the new data to them all the same time so in order to find your websites new PageRank you will need to use a multiple Data Center PageRank checking tool. When using the tool you will see the PageRank of your website over a number of Data Centers. Its helpful knowing your current PageRank for example this website currant PageRank is PageRank 2 when checking on the updated Data Center is showing PageRank 3 so our new PageRank is going up to 3.
